The print edition of last week's Tribeca Trib has a small piece about how they're going to put a park over the entrance to the Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel and take out the parking garage to make the no-man's-land more of a ... er... man's land. Here's a longer piece from last month that says basically the same thing. Since my building's roof deck has a perfect perspective on the area I figured it would be a good idea to take some before pictures for comparison.
