Sun and shade
I'm really pissed at that car being in the way. This was/is a picture of one person sitting in the sun and another hiding from it. With that car in the shot I tried to crop it out entirely and making it about the Paris Shoe Store but I couldn't make it look like anything. Anyway, better luck next time.

I often debate myself about whether or not to "edit" a shot. Sometimes it's for documentary intent, such as a car on the street in front of the building I'm trying to shoot. Other times it's aesthetic, such as the garbage can next to the plants and trees in a garden or park.
Your photography and others has got me looking at the visual noise of the city in a different way. It has its own beauty. So I don't mind the car in this photo so much [g]. But I know what you mean.
