Instead of airplane photos today I want to share a different look at the sky and a perspective on the severe weather NYC and the northeast is experiencing that my fellow New Yorkers may not have seen. Taking the prison bus home from work tonight, with every view looking like a cold medicine commercial, all of a sudden we noticed everything bathed in an orange glow. The edge of the storm front was just short of the horizon, so the sun was peeking through a strip of clear sky on its way out of sight. The colors were impressive, even through the tinted windows of the van.
Peripatetic.
