Bird's eye
The layers were well suited to going on vacation. It was like pulling a big sheet over the ground to put it in storage for a week.
Remember my original plan was to look for cool river fractals. These aren't them yet, but still the rivers divide the geometric shapes well. So interesting to see how the town develops around the river and to see the farmland butt up against the city.
You can tell that these are color photos, and yet the whole landscape is black and white.
There's a lot of this down near D.C. It's interesting to note where there's new development because they're all cul de sacs. The older stuff makes traditional blocks, but someone must have figured out that everyone wants to raise their kids on a cul de sac, so now they don't connect the roads all the way through anymore.
