I got home in the late afternoon and went out to run some errands expecting to see some protests or something at Ground Zero with the start of the memorial construction. Maybe it was shrouded by the tourist throngs, but I didn't see much. This guy has himself set up over in front of Ten House on Liberty.
UPDATE: This morning (3/14) he sat with a sign that read "Night 6" so I guess he's been there all week.
