I really like this one but I can't figure out why. Everything I pick out ends up being something I don't like but somehow it comes out as something my eye still likes. I think it has to do with the vertical lines, not the people.

At the risk of sounding trite, there's something kind of Hopper-y going on here, with the random people wandering through. But what I like about this shot is like you said, the horizontal lines, combined with the soft organic-ness of the human bodies.
Lovely...and I like your blog a lot.
