I think every cop car in the city was passing down Church Street this evening. There was no emergency that I could see. They're probably on some kind of special detail or modified shifts or something so they need a gathering place.
As you can see, the cops aren't really engaged in an emergency. Something I didn't notice until I came home is the woman in the back with her arm in front of her face. When I took the picture I was thinking more about the framing than the subjects so I didn't notice. Clearly she doesn't want to be in my picture. I wish I'd noticed at the time. This is the first time I've seen something like that.
