Ghost block
We were down by the Seaport last weekend and it is really eerie to see the block of Front Street between Beekman and Peck Slip. I don't know how well you can see it in the photos, but except for [the new location of] Jeremy's Ale House, every single building on both sides of the street is empty. They're all freshly renovated and some already have signs for rental. But I can't think of anywhere that the development is so extensive that and entire block is under construction at the same time. (P.S. When those apartments fill up, Jeremy's is going to be a gold mine.)
