George's progress
Amazing progress on the old George's Diner lot. Compare with last week and earlier.
They must be on some kind of deadline incentive because they're working like crazy from early to late. This photo was taken in the morning, and by the end of the day they had the whole third floor framed up. What's odd is that the old building was only two floors, and you can see by the mark on the wall that the old one wasn't as tall as this new one is going to be... so suddenly I'm not so confident that old George is just rebuilding his diner. Whatever ends up there, please just no Rite-Aid or Duane Reade. bleh.
