


The WTC escalators are a sort of unacknowledged memorial. In the old Center I think there were more of them and I think they were longer, but they had the same vertigious quality and dizzying repetition as the current set.
As the weather becomes more inclement and I can't take the motorcycle to work I'll be on these escalators more often so I'll get some shots of them when they're full of people. I'm not sure a still photo can really capture what it looks like to see row upon row of people floating up and down. We'll see.
