For the interior pictures for the Curbed sites I use a tripod and remote trigger. This way I get to keep a nice low ISO and I'm better able to compare what I see with my eyes versus what I'm seeing through the camera.
I don't know why I'm doing that weird twist with my foot.
And P.S. that was a beautiful bathroom. :)

Hi, I just wanted to say I really enjoy your photos. I think they're great! My wife and I visit New York about once a month (as we live in Aberdeen, Maryland, about a 3 hour drive). I'm always clicking away with my camera on our trips. Some day we hope to live in or around the city. Anyway, I feel like I've visited too long without telling you how I appreciate your blog.
