


For non-baby-havers like myself, what we're looking at are the two Xes within the dark area in the center. Those X marks are at each end of the baby. As I understand it, the line that says CRL 0.86cm is describing the distance between the two Xes, which means the baby, at 7 weeks, is not quite a centimeter long yet. (Though remarkably there is a flicker of a heartbeat going on in that tiny bean.)
No, this will not become a baby blog. I'm just digressing for this one post.
