Blue and yellow
This was unexpected and hopefully I can do it again now that I know how it works. Twilight sky light is blue. Incandescent scaffolding light is yellow, plus yellow headlights on yellow speeding cabs.
Another tearful call
There was a week this summer when it seemed like every other person I passed on the street was crying into a phone. Break-up season I guess.

The tunnel tour
These are of the tunnel being built to extend the Long Island Railroad to Grand Central. I probably could have narrowed this set down a little further but it was a pretty incredible tour so every picture still has a lot of impact for me.

Low tide reflections
There was a rain storm coming and the dark cloud blocked a lot of the light in a very tramatic way but only in half the sky.
The way I've been seeing things lately, this last one may be the best of the bunch compositionally, sloppy as I was in taking it.
Balloon head
What I see here is the tethered balloon and the guy with the wires from his ears looking a lot like a tethered balloon himself. I tried to isolate that and include the child's face with the vertical crop but I don't like how it balances. The big shot feels too big but I wasn't able to find the happy medium.
