A select few from ROFLCon

I went to ROFLCon for work, but mostly for personal enrichment and not really at all as a photographic event. Then again, just being someplace with a camera makes it a photographic event. Anyway, as you can see from these, what stayed with me the most was The Tron Guy, Jay Maynard, spending the two days fully suited but participating in the events like a normally dressed person. Wedding sprint

There was a huge wedding party shooting pictures near the soccer field in McCarren Park. I think the upper shot is more dynamic than the lower but that fabric is pretty amazing.

My preference is for the first one, closer to the action. The feedback I've received says the lower one is preferable. I guess because it's more open and the eye doesn't really need my heavy handed framing.
